Introducing, Our Web Developer!

I’m Rachel Maytum, a website designer, web developer, and artist. I became an Antiochian Orthodox Christian in 2008 at St. Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox Church, Belfast, Northern Ireland. I was member of the Parish Council and enjoyed singing in the choir. I’m now living in England. I enjoy creating Pastel Pencil Animal Portraits and People Portraits drawings.

I recently started working alongside a company that specialises in essential oils and hope to learn more about the oils of ancient scripture.

I enjoy keeping the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese website up-to-date and functioning well. If ever you experience any problems with the website, please contact me via .

Our Missioner in Scunthorpe, Subdeacon Chad Lyon

Born into a non-Christian family, I converted to Christ when I was 15 years old and became Orthodox when I was 30. Most of my Orthodox Christian life has been spent in parts of Lincolnshire, including Lincoln and Scunthorpe, although I did enjoy urban living with 3 years in Manchester.

My professional background is social work. Although I no longer work in the field, I am trained in behaviour therapy and have enjoyed supporting both adults and children whose behaviour is challenging. I also worked as part of the North Lincolnshire Children’s Services Access Team, working with new case referrals. After a career change, I now do part-time Web Development.

I am currently involved in establishing a mission in North Lincolnshire, based in Scunthorpe. Please pray for us!
