Ascension Day, 17th May 2007
It is an occasion for great rejoicing that the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR), the (originally) old White-Russian emigre church has now enterred into canonical communion with the Moscow patriarchate. 2nd October 2004: The National Pilgrimage to the Shrine and Well of St. Winefride in Holywell, North Wales took place this day; a photorecord may be found here. 6th to 9th August 2004: Orthodox from all over the UK and Ireland gather for the 25th Anniversary Swanwick Conference of the Fellowship of St. John the Baptist.
