A Pastor of great hope
His Eminence Metropolitan John has distinguished himself in the service of God and in the building up of His Church in the Middle East over many years. Countless testimonials are presented to us of how by the grace of God he educated the young, cared for the suffering, renewed the monastic life and led his people as a Godly bishop in the spiritual patrimony and tradition of Antioch. And now he comes to Europe!
The people of God in his churches here rejoice that such a man of great hope, a true pastor of Christ, should have been given to us by the Holy Spirit through the Holy Synod of Antioch. We shall pray for, support and follow our shepherd as he with us begins the great task set before us of building a house where all may find Christ. Many years Master!
