Metropolitan Silouan’s First Ordination of Father Deacon Paulinus to the Priesthood
On Sunday 13th November, His Eminence, Metropolitan Silouan ordained the Reverend Father Deacon Paulinus (Heggs) to the holy priesthood in the church of All Saints of Lincolnshire, Lincoln. This was the first ordination performed by Sayedna Silouan in his Archdiocese.
Clergy concelebrating with the Metropolitan were Archimandrite Philip Hall (Lincoln), Archpriest Gregory Hallam (Manchester), Father Michael Harry (Louth and Grimsby), Father George Hackney (Lincoln), Fr Stephen Weston (Sutton) and Father Deacon Thomas Ward (Doncaster).
The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was well attended by the faithful and the service concluded with an Agape Reception in the Parish Hall. Father Paulinus is serving as an assistant priest in the parish of St Fursey, Sutton. A photoalbum of the ordination may be found here.
