Ireland at the Crossroads
The Irish Republic is at the crossroads. On 25th May it will vote in a referendum whether or not to repeal an article in its constitution that protects the life of the unborn. The Orthodox Church stands resolutely opposed to abortion in conjunction with most (but sadly not all) other Christian groups.
