Online study for the online Diploma edition (blessed in this Archdiocese) remains of course on a continuous basis. Book now or at any time for the Diploma. Non-diploma students browse for free. The Metropolitan has sent an email about this to all parishes recently.


Many Years, your Beatitude!

slide02In the name of the Archdiocese of The British Isles and Ireland, Metropolitan Silouan greets his Beatitude our beloved Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East with love in Christ, and offers prayers for Many Years in health, grace and strength, on the occasion of the feast of his intercessor before Christ St John the Theologian on the 26th of September.

26th September: Feast of St John the Theologian

Many years Master!

silouanOur Metropolitan’s name day (St Silouan the Athonite) is shared with St Thecla on 24th September.

St Silouan is the intercessor before Christ for His Eminence Sayedna Silouan and hence, this is an annual feast for the whole Archdiocese.

On Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th the Metropolitan will be at the Monastery of St John the Baptist in Essex (Post Code: CM9 8EZ / 01621 816471). The programme of services, at the monastery if you are able to attend, are as follows:

Friday 23rd: Vigil from 17:00 – 21:00 Saturday 24th: Divine Liturgy 08:00 – 11:30

On Sunday 25th September Metropolitan Silouan will celebrate his feast at the Cathedral of St George, London:

Matins 10:00 am,
Divine Liturgy 11:00 am.
